Plain terms for using Vidyaan. If your college has a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement governs where the two differ.
Vidyaan is provided to colleges for aptitude and placement readiness training. Access is through an account created by your college. You use the platform as a student, trainer or administrator of that college, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself.
The platform is for running live training sessions, pushing questions during those sessions, and keeping the attendance and result records that come out of them. It is not a general-purpose video conferencing or messaging tool, and it should not be relied on as one.
Turning on your camera in a live class is always your choice, asked per session, and refusing it does not affect your attendance or score. Trainers and administrators may not require camera video as a condition of being marked present.
Attendance, engagement scores and quiz results are computed from what happens in a session. They are the college's records. If you believe a record is wrong, raise it with your trainer or training office; corrections are made by the college, not by us unilaterally.
Vidyaan is in active development. Features described on this site may be in progress rather than live. During this period the platform is provided as is, without any warranty, and we may change or remove features as it is built.
Your college can stop using Vidyaan at any time and ask us to export or delete its data. We may suspend an account that is being used to harm the platform or other users, and we will tell the college when we do.
If these terms change materially, we will update this page and date the change. Continuing to use Vidyaan after that means the updated terms apply.
